Ciao ragazzi ho scelto il tema per la mia laurea.."Parapsicologia e Occultismo".
So che e' una tematica molto discussa e poco esplorata ma a me questo argomento piace da morire...forse per la mia passione atutto cio' ke e' ignoto,inspiegabile....
Mi chiedevo se qualcuno di voi avesse da consigliarmi qualke riferimento bibliografico....

- European journal of parapsychology
- Journal of parapsychology

La prima la trovi nella biblioteca del dip. di psicologia di Bologna(annate dal 1977 al 1982)
La seconda la trovi nella Biblioteca Centralizzata "Roberto Ruffilli" di Forlì (dal 1989 al 2003);Biblioteca Facoltà di Medicina e Chirurgia dell'Università degli Studi di Brescia (dal 1974 al 1981);Biblioteca Istituto di Psicologia,Facoltà di Medicina e Chirurgia dell'Università di Milano (dal 1971 al 1975).
Spesso le biblioteche offrono il servizio di Documret Delyvery.

Abstract This thesis investigates the impact of telepathy and psi on conceptual and performance art from 1968. Emerging from the author’s art practice, the thesis argues telepathy is a key leitmotif and creative concern within much post 60s art, and has become central to the practice of a number of contemporary video, performance and new media artists. This thesis is composed of two interrelated parts: an exhibition of the artwork by the author concerning telepathic processes, and a written project which uses the major themes of the exhibition to frame an historical study of a number of key contemporary artists whom, it is argued, work with telepathy. These artists, Jane and Louise Wilson, Suzanne Treister and Susan Hiller are discussed under the themes of ‘twinning and doubling,’ ‘technological mediums’ and ‘telepathy experiments’. These themes also overlap in the authors artwork, are introduced through an overarching analysis of the work of performance artist Marina Abramoviç and philosopher Jacques Derrida who, it is argued, provide a new model of telepathy as an art practice. In addition, the thesis argues that telepathy is an often suppressed thematic in art which may not appear to directly address it, and uses the work on the Wilsons, Treister and Hiller to re-look at other 20th Century artists and artistic themes in the light of the conclusions it draws on telepathy and art. Walter Benjamin greatly admired the Surrealists, but had virtually no time for their interest in telepathy, hypnosis and psi. Together with positive materialist misappropriations of Adorno’s Thesis Against Occultism, artistic and theoretical work with telepathy and psi has been sidelined from other important themes in art and critical theory, all of which telepathy and psi illuminate, energise and empower. The art of the author and other more recognised and established artists can be seen to work with telepathy in ways that flow into and reinforce the grain of progressive leftist practice and aesthetics. Women’s work with telepathy should be considered as important as women’s work with sexuality. Women, sexuality, Otherness, liminality, spirituality, telepathy, trauma, healing, radical politics, and other taboo areas of patriachal codes, were adandoned by macho participants of fluxus and Conceptual art. The recent conceptual and performance tilt in contemporary art sheds new light on the problem of working within and developing an effective and dynamic lineage of telepathy in post 60s art as well as early modern art movements. Contemporary developments in science, engineering, biology, psychoanalysis, warfare, popular culture and sociology show the wider relevance of discourse on telepathy. There is much at stake for visual art, aesthetics and visuality in representing, celebrating and interrogating the theme of psi and telepathy in current practice and art history. Artists’ work with telepathy and psi, although not always explicitly psychological, political or aesthetic, is often very psychologically, politically and aesthetically effective.

My research explores the work of six psychotherapists who meditate. Vipassana meditation focuses on developing sensitivity to body sensations, which are understood to accompany all emotion experiences; experienced meditators can feel in their own bodies physical sensations that reflect the experience of a person in close proximity. An aim of the research was to discover whether their meditation practice had enabled the participants to use this ability in their work with patients.

The study focuses on psychotherapists’ lived experience during clinical hours, and enquires about how they direct their attention to their body sensations, and to the relationship with patients. The study explores links between the practice of Buddhist meditation and the evenly-suspended attention recommended by Freud, and further developed by Bion in his psychoanalysis without memory or desire.

Because I was interested in many aspects of therapists’ lived experience, I chose the methodology of Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (Smith, 2003) as a framework for analysing the data. I drew on philosophical underpinnings offered by Heidegger and van Manen.

The study showed that the participating psychotherapists were helped by their meditative training to develop a sensitive receptivity to their own physical sensations and emotion experience, predisposing them to be aware of limbic resonance with their patients’ emotional and physical experiences. Some participants focused their meditative awareness on the ebb and flow of closeness and distance between themselves and their patients, in an orientation to psychotherapy that can be described as relational mindfulness.

This hermeneutic phenomenological study explores eight psychotherapists’ and counsellors’ experiences and understandings of ‘inexplicable’ phenomena that sometimes occur when working with clients.

The purpose of the study is to stimulate thinking about these experiences and bring them into conversation within the psychoanalytic community.

The findings emerging from this research reveal that inexplicable phenomena may occur when therapists and counsellors are in an ‘open’, meditative state in which the boundaries between self and the world seem lessened and time and space are experienced differently. The phenomena may take many forms, including the apparent knowing about events that are later reported by clients, which it would not have been possible to ‘sense’ in the usual way, and the seeing of semi-solid forms, which may be static or moving.

The meanings made of the experiences vary according to different spiritual and theoretical worldviews but, invariably, the experiences are interpreted as receiving a communication from, or being attuned to, the unconscious mind or a spiritual intelligence or source of knowledge. This is discussed in relation to psychotherapeutic, phenomenological and spiritual literature.

Occultism is another field we shall have to conquer… There are strange and wondrous things in these lands of darkness. Please don’t worry about my wanderings in these infinitudes. I shall return laden with rich bounty for our knowledge of the human psyche (Jung to Freud 1911: Mc. Guire, 1991, p. 223).

I advise against. Don’t do it. By it you would be throwing a bomb into the psychoanalytical house, which would be certain to explode. (Freud’s letter to Ferenczi, (1919) when the latter wanted to present his telepathic experiments to the next IPA conference (Jones, 1957, p. 42).

Freud wrote to psychic researcher , Hereward Carrington, that: “If I had my life to live over again, I should devote myself to psychical research rather than to psychoanalysis” (Jones 1957, p. 32). In 1929, Freud denied having said this but Ernest Jones tracked down the evidence of the letter (Farrell, 1983).

Amico mio (o amica, che ne so?)... Noi siamo una delle poche nazioni che NON partecipa al Networked Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations

Le nostre tesi di laurea stano su siti nei quali devi pagare per leggere. Col bel risultato che nessuno le conosce. All'estero le tesi vengono digitalizzate e diffuse gratis, col risultato che tutti le citano.

Sul cosa ne penso: io sono un materialista convinto, quindi penso che non esistano fenomeni "extrasensoriali". Quel che so è che esistono fenomeni che non siamo ancora riusciti a speigare in modo soddisfacente. E che vale la pena tentare di farlo.
